GROUPING BEADS

Physical Development - Improving Fine Motor Skills, Mental Development - Memorization & Recognition, Mathematics - Learn Counting, Sizes, Sorting & Geometric Shapes, Science & Environment Awareness - Colors Identification

Step 1: Put the available items into a small container or on a table (plain surface) altogether.

Step 2: Sit with your child and try to come up with ways to group things together.
For example: both of you might sort beads by their geometric shapes, colors or sizes etc.

Step 3: Sort/Filter/Group similar items and separate them from unsorted items.

Step 4: Also ask your child to count the sorted beads.

a) You can perform this activity by using blocks, buttons instead of beads.
